SCI-Arc opens fall 2027 applications with January 15 merit-aid deadline

The Southern California Institute of Architecture, or SCI-Arc, is accepting applications for fall 2027 across its degree programs.

Applicants who submit by the January 15, 2027, priority deadline will automatically be considered for merit-based scholarships.

SCI-Arc offers NAAB-accredited Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees, along with one-year postgraduate Master of Science programs in Architectural Intelligence, Design Theory and Pedagogy, Fiction and Entertainment, and Synthetic Landscapes.

The school says students work from its campus, a quarter-mile-long former freight depot in downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District, where artist studios, galleries and design firms are also located.
