Oracle has invoked force majeure on work tied to its Project Jupiter data center in New Mexico, according to Engineering News-Record.

The project involves Oracle and developers coordinating the data center’s delivery with power generation and gas infrastructure that are being permitted separately.

The site is under construction in New Mexico, with the report published Sept. 28, 2026.

ENR says the work faces hurdles as the data center buildout is tied to those separate power and gas approvals.

The report was published by Engineering News-Record, which cited the project’s force majeure invocation and the permitting and delivery issues around the site.
