ODA has completed Radiant LIC, a new residential tower in the Queens Plaza neighborhood of Long Island City, New York.
The project is by ODA and features cascading terraces and corrugated aluminum panels on its facade.
According to the team, the exterior’s horizontal bands on the north and east sides were shaped by the movement of the elevated train nearby, with the design meant to evoke fluidity and motion.
The facade uses corrugated aluminum panels with a finish that changes appearance under different lighting conditions, shifting from a light brown tone in the morning to a warmer gold later in the day.
Archinect reported the completion on Oct. 9, 2026.
